Ursa Financial Consulting is a family business: from our team, to our values, to our name. At the creation of this company, Cere's family suggested "Ursa" in reference to the bear constellation (also known as the "Big Dipper") because she is the Mama Bear who protects and looks out for her family. We aim to bring that same energy to every client we serve. You're family here, and we're here to look out for you!

Her 20+ years of experience includes working for small startup companies as well as large Fortune 500 companies. Since founding her own business in 2019, Cere has focused exclusively on supporting small business

Cere strives to maximize client support by streamlining processes for small business owners in a variety of industries. Her 20+ years of experience includes working for small startup companies as well as large Fortune 500 companies. Since founding her own business in 2019, Cere has focused exclusively on supporting small businesses as their Fractional Controller.
Over the years Cere has transformed financial systems for multiple clients, assessing and upgrading their processes to ensure financial records are compliant with government regulations. Her experience includes, financial reporting, month end close, account reconciliation, system implementation, workflow automation, metrics monitoring, variance analysis, budget tracking, project cost accounting, grant and contract financial management.
When Cere isn't in the office she enjoys traveling, paddle boarding and spending time with her family and her energetic standard poodle.
